A new section “Public Perception, from a scientific perspective’ has been launched under our ‘the Debate’ section. In this section, we’ve published an article by researchers from the Delft University:

• Shale gas and responsible innovation

As well as an article by authors from KIT and TNO with the topic of:

• Insights from ‘Frack Off’ to ‘Frackademia’ – Public Perceptions of Shale Gas in the German Context

The Gas Technology Institute (GTI) present their forthcoming research project about hydraulic fracturing on SHIP:

• GTI is establishing an Hydraulic Fracture Test Site to increase shale environmental safety and stimulation efficiency

GeoShale 2014 - Conference announcement in Warsaw Poland

• The Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute is organizing its second scientific conference dedicated to fine-grained sediments – GeoShale 2014 (24-26 Sep., 2014, Warsaw).
